Take a hands-on approach to science and meet the experts! The Sydney Science Festival Schools Expo gives students an immersive space where they can ask all the hard questions, try out some science experiments and investigate the science they encounter every day. Australia’s top science institutions and organisations come together to provide students with interactive booths where they can explore STEM and get excited about the future of science. Highlights this year focus on global sustainability science and the future of Earth.

The Expo is part of the Science Festival at the Australian Museum, which brings exciting discoveries and practical science to life with a unique program of hands-on activities, talks and explosive workshops, with a wide coverage of scientific fields and school curriculum links.
When you arrive at the Australian Museum you will find Ellie or one of our event coordinators (in a bright orange shirt) and our lovely volunteers (yellow shirts) waiting to greet you. Please see an event coordinator before going into the Museum for your activity.
