The age of New Medicine is upon us. This talk aims at pointing out the principal role we as individuals play in helping our body maintain its healthy status it is designed to sustain and thereby avoid chronic disease.
Regardless of our age, we all want to be able to lead a life unimpeded by any health concerns. Indeed, everyone considers such an ideal as a given and only show concern if such a state is in some way compromised. We are then compelled to seek professional help.
As more and more people do that, there are signs that such a disease focused health system will ultimately be unaffordable, exposing many to no medical care whatsoever. It would be prudent then for everyone to undertake, if possible, simple counter measures well beforehand and therefore avoid the crisis from happening altogether.
It is well to realise that everything has a cause, including our health. We are not compelled to seek the cause of good health because we take it for granted. However, we expect that any health issues that may beset us will be effectively resolved by a doctor.
It would thus appear the better strategy would be to question the cause of ill health in general and then, armed with this knowledge, decide if and how it could easily be avoided.
