Margaret Wu speaks about how traditional Chinese medicine developed from empirical medicine to experimental medicine and how Chinese medicine benefits our health.
Xiaoqin (Margaret) Wu is a PhD candidate in the School of Life Sciences (UTS) and used to be an oncologist in Beijing for 12 years. She is a registered acupuncture practitioner of 25 years and a qualified Chinese medicine herbalist. She has been registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia since 2012. With expertise in clinical intervention, she is currently conducting research projects on the benefits of acupuncture.
