Big Science Day

A big day out full of experiences for families exploring all things science.

The Powerhouse Museum will be a buzz with science action during Big Science Day. Come along and engage in hands-on science activities, demonstrations and exhibits which explore the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM).

During the day you can speed meet a scientist exploring topics from physics to galaxies, experience coding robots or get hands on with a a science zine making workshop with Vanessa Berry.

Learn about the moon landing and space travel by going on curator tours of Apollo 11, explore the Space exhibition and peer through a telescope at the solar telescope viewing stations.
