Back for 2019, the 4th annual MAAS Young Creators Conference is a fresh “STEAM” take on the school science fair!
Since 2016, we’ve been inspired by young people representing their schools to amaze invited industry guests, museum audiences and each other as they:
- demonstrate robots they’ve built and coded,
- immerse audiences in VR games,
- experiment with interactive textiles,
- lead 3D printing workshops,
- undertake design challenges against the clock in a public setting,
- present from regional schools via video conferencing,
- document the event by producing video promos, and
- manage the entire event including technical support roles and MC’s.
A premium schools event for Sydney Science Festival, the Young Creator’s Conference is the perfect platform for learners to demonstrate their creativity, communication and leadership skills, and for schools to showcase excellence in inventing, designing, coding and making.
