Volcanoes, Eruptions and More…

Presented by Australian Museum
Schools

Get your hands dirty by making volcanoes explode!

Did you know that rocks move? Not just up and down, but sideways and backwards, moving all over each other.

The world as we know it has been developed by these movements through eruptions, earthquakes, meteors and tectonic plate shift.

Witness the power of rocks in this dynamic and interactive show.

Presented in partnership with the Australian Museum, this activity is part of the Science in the City celebrations for schools at the Australian Museum. Exciting discoveries and practical science are brought to life with a unique program of hands-on activities, talks and explosive workshops, with a wide coverage of scientific fields and school curriculum links.

Suitable for Stage 1 – Stage 5. For school bookings only, made in advance. Minimum 15 students. Please see the event timetable here for current availabilities.
